Grand Cru claim 14th in the Rolex Fastnet Race

Congratulations to Grand Cru, skippered by Jamie McGarry, in coming a very creditable 14th overall in the Rolex Fastnet Race.  They gave us a few anxious moments when their tracker stopped transmitting but it soon became apparent that they were still in the race and doing well.  No dramas reported and they were in very good form on their return to the Club bar at the weekend.  Having “ticked that box” the guys are now considering their next challenge and the Round Island Race was mentioned….
